Russian PPP Week
A team of specialists of the Omsk Metalwork Plant participated in the V Infrastructure Congress “Russian Public and Private Partnership (PPP) Week”.
The Infrastructure Congress “Russian PPP Week” is the largest event in the development of infrastructure and public and private partnership in Russia and CIS countries. The event planner is the National PPP Center with the participation of the field-specific federal ministries and support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and “Business Russia” organization. The Roscongress Foundation has been a co-planner of the Russian PPP Week since 2018. The program of the Russian PPP Week includes three days of the conference program and one training day. The theme of the Congress covers the issues of attracting the extrabudgetary investments to the public and production infrastructure development – construction of roads and railways, bridges and overpasses, upgrading the utilities and improvement of urban environment, development of health, education and social services infrastructure, development of agro-industrial and defence complexes.
More than 70 subjects of the Russian Federation annually form the delegations to participate in the Congress. In total, more than 1,500 persons take part in the Russian PPP Week – the representatives of the federal and regional authorities, managers of banks and commercial enterprises, financial and legal advisers, leading Russian and foreign experts in fund-raising and PPP. About 150 representatives of the federal and regional media highlight the Congress events. In the frameworks of the business program, in addition to round tables and discussions, a series of practices are conducted with a presentation of the implemented and prospective projects to ensure the improved quality of the project preparation and attraction of the potential investors and partners. The Congress is an official site for presentation of the PPP Development Rating of the Regions of Russia.
The agenda of the Congress includes prospective formation of the regional infrastructure plans, creation of additional financial support measures and their alignment with the existing mechanisms, development of the pre-project finance tools, development of PPP typical solutions, determination of optimal risk allocation models and ensuring the repayment of investment in the infrastructure projects. The industry-specific character of the Russian PPP Week covers projects for the construction of roads and railways, bridges and overpasses, upgrading the utilities and improvement of urban environment, creation of the modern health, education and social services infrastructure, development of agro-industrial and defence complexes.
